ABC Reporter Chris Wallace Joins Fox News

NEW YORK (AP) -- Veteran ABC News reporter Chris Wallace is rejoining the Sunday talk show wars, replacing Tony Snow as host of "Fox News Sunday" starting in mid-November.

Wallace, who was briefly host of NBC's "Meet the Press" in the mid-1980s, has been covering politics for ABC's "Primetime Live." He was the chief White House correspondent at NBC during the Reagan presidency.

Roger Ailes, Fox News chairman, called Wallace a "journalist of great experience and integrity."

Snow is leaving the one-hour political chat show to be host of a syndicated program for Fox News Radio.

Wallace, who did not return telephone calls seeking comment, will join panelists Brit Hume (a fellow ABC News alum), Bill Kristol, Mara Liasson and Juan Williams.
