Rice delivers democratic message in Ala.
Don't shoot me; that's the real headline! I thought maybe she was giving the radio response today. :)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --The memories rushed back for Condoleezza Rice when she entered the Brunetta C. Hill school for the first time in 39 years. She was a pupil there from grades four through six and seemed delighted she could still remember the location of her classrooms and the library in the aging two-story building in the city's Smithfield section.

It was a happy time for the piano-playing youngster, but a period thick with racial tensions in Birmingham, best symbolized by the murder of four black girls at the 16th Street Baptist Church in 1963.

Now things are different. Rice said Friday that Birmingham "has come a long way -- light years -- from when I lived here."

She said the city might not have escaped its racist ways were it not for democratic institutions that enabled compromise to prevail over conflict.

2. Nah, IF the bobblehead WAS giving our radio address, the media
Headline would be:

"Rice delivers Democrat message in Alabama"

You know the mediawhores like their Puke masters REFUSE to call us what we are...Democratic. It's DELIBERATE and we ALL know WHY.

Bobblehead Rice needs to just shut up and fuck off, nobody wants to hear her gibberish anymore. Big deal she can play the piano. She's NOT from Alabama anymore anyhow, she's spent a lot of dough getting rid of her accent, she's not EVEN black.

She's from California and Washington DC, she talks like she's from the North East and she's a white man that's trapped inside the body of a black woman.

7. Ha :)
Not forgetting that Bobblehead Rice and husband Junior are also having an illicit homosexual affair...IN the Oval Office. Impeach the pigs.

9. The nerve of her to even go there!

Guess she is trying to convince people to believe that she likes Black people.

Condi Rice "doesn't care about Black People!"

13. Amazing, isn't it?
CondaLiar Rice has the gall to show up in her former state. When it seems like it was just yesterday, when she was out shopping for Ferragamo Shoes for $thousands of bucks. Went to a play, did some jogging....while her people were drowning and dying in Alabama.

I have to say, I've changed my view of her: she's got unbelievable courage. Or she must think that people have really short memories.

8. But hold on a damn minute...
I thought she said her parents shielded her from the horror of the civil rights movement. And now she claims to remember certain things from that time?

Just a few weeks ago, she said she was 12 or 13 back then, and playing the piano and ice skating were her focus. She didn't focus very much on what she called the "counterculture."

12. Rice links Birminghan to Irag etc (see here).

.....Rice sees a link between Birmingham's successes and the problems she monitors daily in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere: Only with democracy is there hope for a better day.
