High power bill sends man into killing frenzy - NY

New York - Enraged apparently by a high electricity bill, a man killed his roommate and her daughter and then told police, "I did something bad," the New York Daily News reported on Monday.

The double murder took place in a Brooklyn apartment on Sunday night when the man, Albert Clarke, became violent and used a pipe to bludgeon and stab to death the woman he was living with.

Clearly this man is mentally unstable. The electric bill is irrelevant. Let's not diminish the sadness of this by focusing on the electric bill.

what a fucking world we live in. I hope that after they lock this chap up for the remainder of all time (and proceed to throw the key in the Marianas Trench) that in his name the State of New York increses mental health care for the rest of it's citizens. that might have prevented this awful event, but this guy should never again see an unencumbered sky.

Sorry, but after that "Brittneys black helicopter" and "man w/gun near chimp's daughter" articles and the typical responses to them, *I* think it was called for.

Poor guy, wonder why he didn't have somebody to talk to? it's not about the electric bill, that's just the last straw.
Now he won't get any help at all, just fried.
