KFC to have bird flu commercials on the ready
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - In coming days, KFC will have television commercials ready to reassure customers that its chicken is safe to eat in the event of a bird flu outbreak.

The chicken chain said Tuesday it hopes the spots never have to air, but it’s taking no chances in the face of a potential threat to business.

“We’ll keep them on the shelf and hope not to use them,” Jonathan Blum, spokesman for KFC’s parent, Yum Brands Inc., said of the spots expected to be shot soon.

1. Their chicken has NEVER been safe to eat....
unless you are looking for an effective, cheap laxative.

16. Laxative!
I knew this stoner named Russel Beebe who worked at the parkade of a major department store, and he seemed to subsist almost entirely on a diet of Kentucky Fried Chicken. All that breading kept him pretty well bunged up all the time. And since there was no outlet for his shit, his sweat started to smell horrible.

17. I read your post to my cat.
She was very insulted and insisted that she would taste much better than Greasy Sparrow.

Alice now hates you, but since she has a cat's attention span, she'll probably forget about it in about ten minutes.

13. Stick w/ the biscuits.
They cut the beaks off their chickens, and overcrowd to the Nth degree... never mind the female hormones they pump into them.

Sick.

No sentient being should be subjected to such crulty.

PS - I'm a meat eater. Of the non-industrial kind.

25. How the hell would they KNOW their chicken is "safe to eat" if there
is an outbreak of the Avian Flu? Or are they assuming that you'll die from the flu anyway, and won't be around to sue? WTF?

31. It's amazing how fake this country has become
We're more worried about how safe our chicken is because of an imposing plague, not about being vaccinated.

I'm still waiting for all of the buildings and everything to topple over as cardboard post-its, I doubt this country will have any reality much longer.
