No evidence Iran supporting Iraqi insurgents: Chalabi

TEHRAN, Nov. 14 (MNA) -- On Sunday, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Chalabi dismissed allegations that Iran is interfering in Iraq’s internal affairs, calling on the accusers to prove their allegations that Iran is providing support to insurgents in Iraq.

In regard to British and U.S. officials’ claims that Iranian weapons have been discovered in Iraq, Chalabi called on Iraq, Britain and Iran to form a research committee to investigate the allegations about the transfer of military equipment from Iran to Iraq.

He also dismissed accusations he had transferred secret information from the U.S. to Iran.

“I officially reject the accusations,” Chalabi asserted.

Or is this an unofficial rejection?

What a mess. The Iranians probably are helping the insurgency, so Buschco is likely right on that, but instead of considering other options they will try to solve this with a sledgehammer too.

So Bushco is telling the truth but for a bad reason,
Chalabi is lying to try to save his skin,
many of us have to oppose BOTH of them, which probably looks funny to some people.
