Protesters target Wal-Mart (for refusal to stock morning-after pill)
Baring signs with messages such as "Wal-Mart's policies harm women's health," and "Wal-Mart says no to rape survivors," about 50 people protested outside the Rte. 9 Wal-Mart.

The group is angry at the major retailer's decision not to carry emergency contraception for women -- the morning after pill -- in any of the store's pharmacies nationwide.

The protest was sponsored by the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. Along with the Northborough protest, there were protests outside of Wal-Marts in Quincy and Hadley.

"Our goal is to educate people about the policy," said Misty Perez, grassroots organizer for Planned Parenthood. "We're here because emergency contraceptives help prevent unintended pregnancies. Women deserve timely contraceptives."

4. Different situation...
Wal-Mart won't carry the pill.

Target carries it, but some of their pharmacists will just refuse to sell it to you...
