Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 05:49 PM by gapower
He was at -21% in October. The latest now have him at -23%.

Click the purple bar - SORTED BY 11/05 'NET APPROVAL' - to see that his approval ratings are greater than zero in only 4 of 50 states.

I wonder how loss of phone lines might affect responses in Mississippi.

15. It's a good bet that folks who still lack phone service
aren't happy.

17. The Big Switch all started in Tennessee, June 1
I checked all the state graphs - fascinating how the change of opinion sweeps around the country. Starts with Tennessee about the first of June, then VA/KY and NM/AZ. Then SC/GA, SD/KS, Indiana, NC. Then Texas, Alabama, and Lousiana, and there's not much left!

9. Amazingly LOW digits. Only 3 states with majority approval. Only 6 with
plurality approval. Chimpy is WAY in the tank.

13. The time trends are interesting too.
Check the links to the right of each state - trends over the past few months. The Big Switch came between September 19th and October 17th in a lot of the South. But in North Carolina it was August, and in Arizona, Georgia, Kansas, and Kentucky, it was late July.

Didn't hit North Dakota and Montana till the last couple of weeks. Wyoming, here we come!!!!

10. Looks like New Yorkers and Rhode Islanders are the most sane
New York %70 disapprove in SurveyUSA's poll

&

Rhode Island %73 disapprove.

Glad I live in New York. I actually feel somewhat sane here. LOL.

Dad's a gung-ho GOPer but he is repulsed by *.
One of the historically most corrupt state governments around, so maybe folks in RI have sharpened skepticism sensitivity.

Your father is a smart GOPer. My grandmother is a Repukelican and never voted for the twit. She said, "He looks like a crook," so she voted for Gore & Kerry.

11. Wow. Amazingly low disapproval in Ohio and Iowa.
Especially for two states that voted for Bush just one year ago.

It's a good thing that we can trust our elections to be fair and honest.
Otherwise, I might be slightly suspicious.

14. Wonder what these figures would have looked like a year ago.
Yeah, you can check out their time trends but they only go back 6 months. Click on the right side of each state's listing - OH and IA have consistently "disfavored" Bush since May 2005.

26. Yeah - amazing.
If you look at the time trends, SurveyUSA indicates opinions have changed dramatically in South Carolina:

http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollTrack.aspx?g=bfe0aa76-ec3a-416e-adb5-bd293c93663c

while they've been somewhat more stable in Washington:
http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollTrack.aspx?g=d62c7f52-a51f-4b76-8e40-cbc7c4e174a5

I don't know about SurveyUSA's credentials, but their data from several months ago seem to reflect the 2004 election results, while the current data indicate a HUGE shift among the former red states.

22. Can't we just give Utah to Saudi Arabia?
They seem to be cut from the same religiously insane cloth

On the other hand, Florida doesn't look so hopelessly retarded anymore. 37% approve of torture and vulgar Bushco depravity, while 61% are seeing the light.
