(UK) Naked marines bullying video 'not typical'

A video apparently showing the bullying of Royal Marine recruits "was not typical of what goes on" in the military, Adam Ingram, the Armed Forces Minister, has said.

Speaking at the Royal Marine base of Chivenor, North Devon, he said there was a "zero tolerance" to bullying within the services.

A criminal investigation has been launched after a video emerged allegedly showing a naked young Royal Marine being beaten unconscious by his superior during a recruit initiation ceremony at Bickleigh.

Mr Ingram said he became aware of the alleged events at Bickleigh ten days ago.

June 1995 - Private Sean Benton, from Hastings, East Sussex, was found dead at the Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut, with five bullet wounds to his chest. 4. true. I wasn't the one that used the word "stupid", I was just responding
to a post that used it.
However, your point is well taken that it appears (by back following the link to a prior story) that it WAS leaked by someone who was appalled by the process.
Unfortunately, the linked story in the OP does not reveal that info unless you follow the other link.
