Zarqawi 'had threatened her'
Berlin - A German woman who has vanished in Iraq said last month she believed she had been targeted for kidnapping by al-Qaeda's frontman in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a German newspaper said on Tuesday.

Susanne Osthoff, 43, told the Neue Osnabruecker Zeitung in an interview in Baghdad that she had received threats from Zarqawi's group last summer while she was living in Mosul, northern Iraq.

Osthoff said that United States soldiers had taken her from Mosul to the "Green Zone" in Baghdad where they thought she would be safer.

The report said that Osthoff had intended to establish a German cultural centre in the northern Iraqi city of Arbil and that she had spoken with the German embassy in Baghdad and the Kurdish regional government on the subject.

1. How is the word Zarqawi synonymous with Al Qaeda or Insurgent?

4. It's more likely that El Chupacabra got hold of her
There's more evidence that Sasquatch exists than al-Zarqawi. At least no one's claimed to have killed Sasquatch 20 different times.
