New Iraq 'trophy videos' raise fears on civilian deaths

Nine further "trophy videos" showing private security contractors randomly shooting Iraqi civilians have been posted on the internet, it is claimed.

The videos' existence has sparked concern that private companies, not subject to regulation in Britain or Iraq, may be responsible for killing scores of innocent Iraqis.

The Sunday Telegraph has seen one of the new videos, which appears to show contractors opening fire at an unidentified target, possibly another vehicle, in Baghdad.

The incident allegedly took place on a road called "route Irish", which links the capital to its airport.

The video, featuring the sound of machine-gun fire and screeching brakes, lasts 21 seconds and appears to show members of a security team firing at a vehicle in the distance or at another travelling alongside. In another video employees of a British security company are shown firing back after being ambushed by insurgents.

2. It's homicide.
I've read there has been identification of the people involved in the shootings.
I'm not going to ask why anymore. The "war" is illegal. What is going on there is illegal. The president isn't the president. The American people read fake news. And what are we going to do next?
I have faith and optimism that the truth will never ever be shut out. The truth is right behind these asses.

4. They shoot children, don't they?
"The chick got in the way."

The random killing, maiming, brutalizing and humiliation of civilians has been going on with REGULARITY since the invasion began. It has become EXPONENTIALLY WORSE post-Negroponte. It's difficult to sort out militias and factions from false flags and death squads. It's NOT difficult to notice that American troops will "shoot at anything that moves."

6. The big question is why are they being released........
and by whom. Someone has obviously collected them for a reason beyond showing "free lance" killing by the contractors. I'm beginning to think we have another bunch of yahoos sharing this stuff on the internet. Obviously there are some crazy people employed that should have been vetted more closely. Money (salary) definitely brings out nuts.

<snip>

"A senior source at Aegis, speaking on condition of anonymity, said he believed that the videos were probably posted on the website by a disgruntled former employee sacked for being unprofessional. "We have problems with guys who are too slow to open fire and guys who are trigger-happy."

"There are a lot of cowboys out here and most of them work for American companies but we are all being tarred with the same brush. Whoever it is deserves to be jailed."
