Dubai, 03 Dec. 05 (WAM)-- General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence has called on foreign forces in Iraq to withdraw gradually and give Iraqis the opportunity to govern themselves.

During a question-and-answer session with delegates of the Young Arab Leaders Forum, Sheikh Mohammed stated that the US is a superpower and a great and good nation but has made mistakes in the war-torn Iraq.

He said violence can not solve problems but will rather aggravate them.

1. Fancy that.
You can't bludgeon political grievances out of existence, and trying tends to make matters worse. That approach has a high failure rate.
