Bloomberg: McCain Says Abramoff Probe Will Lead to More Indictments
Bloomberg
December 4, 2005

Dec. 4 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Senator John McCain said he expects ``lots'' of indictments to grow out of the federal investigation of lobbyist Jack Abramoff and that there was ``strong evidence'' of wrongdoing by some lawmakers.

``This town has become very corrupt, there's no doubt about it,'' McCain said today on NBC's ``Meet the Press'' program.

2. Reed and Dobson are mixed up in this mess
up to their eyeballs. As long as this mess puts those two sanctimonious frauds in prison, any crooked Congressmen it manages to get rid of will be icing on the cake.

4. Driving to work in rural NE Georgia, there WAS a hugh Reed billboard
parked in the front yard of a large estate home. When the Abramoff charges became public, the billboard was moved to the back of the lot, leaving a clear trail through the waist-high brown pasture.

I sure hope Ralph Reed is through in GA.

5. Idiot!
McCain held the hearings that investigated the Abramhoff scandals involved with Indian Tribes.

You wouldn't know half of it if he wasn't around.

PS McCain & John Glenn were cleared in the Keating Scandals.

6. John McCain, typical ReTHUGliCON
http://www.realchange.org/mccain.htm

"Charles Keating was convicted of racketeering and fraud in both state and federal court after his Lincoln Savings & Loan collapsed, costing the taxpayers $3.4 billion. His convictions were overturned on technicalities; for example, the federal conviction was overturned because jurors had heard about his state conviction, and his state charges because Judge Lance Ito (yes, that judge) screwed up jury instructions. Neither court cleared him, and he faces new trials in both courts.)"

" Though he was not convicted of anything, McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,00 in contributions. In the mid-1980s, McCain made at least 9 trips on Keating's airplanes, and 3 of those were to Keating's luxurious retreat in the Bahamas. McCain's wife and father-in-law also were the largest investors (at $350,000) in a Keating shopping center; the Phoenix New Times called it a "sweetheart deal." "

"Do you know why Chelsea Clinton is so ugly? Because Janet Reno is her father." -- John McCain

16. McCain is MY Senator and he is an immoral sack of poop.
I suppose some consider how he allowed his wife and child, for whom he has no respect , to be treated disgustingly by W ,and then for MCCain to kiss W's butt. What a worm , and a coward, POW or not. And McCain was guilty as sin in the Keating scandal.

9. I think it's a pretty crafty political move
by McCain.

If he's running in 08, he'll need to distance himself again from all that is Bush. This lets him start positioning himself as the "clean guy" who was just shocked at the amount of corruption in WDC. Amazing that it never touched him.

13. What McCain is hoping is that Dorgan and Reid go down.
What will happen is that all the Pubes who took Abramoff's dirty money will go down in flames.

14. I don't think McCain can think any further than playing checkers
with a blind old lady. 'Tis always after the fact, that McCain ever wakes up. Even the freeper say that if John knew how to fly he'd never got shot down.
