PRIME Minister John Howard has received an obvious but unwelcome message from his Turkish counterpart: Iraq is going badly.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan said yesterday that "Iraq has become a training ground for terrorism".

2. Iraq is going badly. In other breaking news...
Most people don't like living under foreign occupation.

The sun rose in the east today.

The sky is blue, when it isn't cloudy.

5. Yes.
And just in case it wasn't clear, I wasn't complaining about the Turkish PM stating the obvious. I was making fun of anyone resisting the obvious.

4. When Turkey speaks of terrorism, they are referring about the Kurds
Any attempt by Iraqi Kurds to create a separate state will be strongly opposed by Turkeu for fear that the Turkish Kurds will also seek independence.

Turkey will never accept a separate Kurdish state, and neither will the Shias in Iraq or Iran.

6. you're pointing out just one area of the coming
destabilization.

the kurds ARE going to want their right to self determination.

shia and turks will want to interfere -- the sunni's in iraq will take advantage of any further deevolution.

this is what we have set off.

7. That is the goal remember..."Flypaper Strategy"
They admitted our purpose was to create more terrorists and draw them to Iraq where we can kill them along with a few civilians here and there....
