UN conference breathes life into Kyoto Protocol

The conference of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was tasked with charting the next steps in curbing emissions from fossil fuel gases that scientists say are trapping heat from the Sun and disrupting Earth's fragile climate system.

1. This is very good news!
The bush admin did everything they could to try and sabatage any positive outcome from the conference and they failed miserably. The world is moving on and will do so without the U.S. if needs be, that is the message that has been sent with this agreement, imo.
