Reaction to remarks on Israel surprises Iran
Reaction to remarks on Israel surprises Iran
Sun Dec 11, 2005 7:44 AM ET

By Parinoosh Arami

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran expressed surprise on Sunday about international condemnation of President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's remarks regarding the Holocaust and Israel, and accused the West of not
tolerating differences of opinion.

The United Nations Security Council and many world leaders have deplored Ahmadinejad's comments,
in which he expressed doubt that the Holocaust happened and suggested Israel be moved to Europe.

But Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said reaction to the Iranian president's
remarks was unfair.

"I'm surprised by the reaction to these comments," he told a weekly news conference. "Some foreign
circles and foreign countries are giving a misleading impression (of what Ahmadinejad said)."

Asefi says that Ahmadinejad was just expressing some opinions and
that foreigners should be more tolerant of them.

Like a trip through the looking glass.

1. Pretty clear Ahmadinejad wants the occupation in Iraq to continue
until a state of civil war is permanent. Why would he want the USA to withdraw and Iraqis to work together to build a nation?

Why? He wants the Shiites to have to join with him and cut the Sunnis out.

So he "jew baits".

Freak!
