THE SAGINAW NEWS

A Saginaw Township leader wants an apology from national talk show TV and radio host Bill O'Reilly for his on-air declaration that the suburb has banned anyone from wearing red and green clothing.

O'Reilly made the remarks Friday on his radio show, broadcast locally over WSGW-AM, 790.

"In Saginaw, Michigan, the township opposes red and green clothing on anyone," O'Reilly said before laughing.

5. There couldn't be a more old line Catholic/Lutheran/Protestant community
in the entire midwest than Saginaw, particularly the township.
I work there, and it's practically nauseatingly, Lake Wobegon-ish.

Now you could talk about the crack problem on the east side, or
the Meth freaks out in the county, but they probably celebrate
Christmas, too.

Saginaw might be wising up about Bill bin Reilly, but I wonder if others of our fellow citizens gulled into voting for the Elephant Party and their Conserva-crook allies might need someone from Faux News lying about their communities before they being their own getting of wisdom.

(TV5) -- A Mid-Michigan Township makes national news but there's a problem, local officials say the whole thing was made up.

Bill O'Reilly is making the claim that Saginaw Township officials banned residents from wearing red and green during the holiday season. Local officials say he's dead wrong.

Syndicated controversial talk show host Bill O’Reilly said on his radio show:

“In Saginaw , Michigan , the township opposes red and green clothing…on Anyone, In Saginaw Township they basically said anybody, we don’t want you wearing red or green. I would dress up from head to toe in red to green if I were in Saginaw Michigan .”

WNEM TV-5 Talked to Saginaw Township supervisor Tim Braun who says O’Reilly’s comments are flat out not true. Braun goes on to say the township hall has red and green Christmas lights adorning the building at night.

18. That's what I was thinking.
Is O'Dumbfuck making up the same story about lots of different places or is someone inventing stories in a disinformation campaign to get him sympathy? After all these years of lies about lies about lies about lies, you kind of get lost in the double negatives.

I used to work for "Twisted Sister" and we played on Long Island(where O'Reilly is from...) a LOT. He's your standard LI loudmouth drunk, usually found at the end of the night laying on the floor of the men's room, in a puddle of his digestive detritus. So true to form it's scary.

At a Twisted Sister show, he would have gotten his ass kicked by the guys wearing makeup. ;-)

25. i've only heard his radio show a few times
but it seemed clear, in those handful of minutes, that his radio program played even faster and looser with the facts than his tv show. He's so full of shit it's amazing he even believes his own rants ...
