Govt. Cracking Down on Child Prostitution
Govt. Cracking Down on Child Prostitution
By MARK SHERMAN, Associated Press Writer

Friday, December 16, 2005
(12-16) 01:42 PST WASHINGTON (AP) --

The government has embarked on a crackdown on people who force children into prostitution, making arrests in several states.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was expected to highlight some examples at a Friday news conference.

Charges have been filed in recent days in Florida, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and others are expected, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk about the topic before Gonzales' announcement.

A grand jury in Camden, N.J., indicted eight people Wednesday on charges they conspired to recruit girls to be prostitutes in Atlantic City, N.J., Las Vegas and New York, according to court documents. The defendants managed a prostitution ring that also extended to Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, the indictment said.

It hasn't been that long since George W. Bush wasted everyone's precious time trying to point out various countries he wanted to charge as indulging human trafficking. I wonder how on earth he overlooked HIS OWN COUNTRY.

2. The way our "Justice" Department works...
...I wouldn't put it past them to extend the "crackdown" to consenting adult couples living together outside of marriage. I mean, the woman must have been a child once, right? And, by the "just say no" standards of "abstinence-only," is there really all that much difference between having sex with one man with whom you are not married while he pays for half the rent, and having sex with lots of them with cash changing hands?

:eyes:

13. maybe ruin some freepers, but not the big shots...
they're only cracking down on "publicly available" prostitution, not the kind their buddy Larry King of Franklin Credit fame once rounded up for them, who knows who's doing the scouting these days?

Child prostitution in the U.S. is far more common than most people realize.

15. They do nothing to end the desperate economics that feed this...
so two weeks from now there will be a new crop of child "volunteering" to sell their bodies in order to pay for heat, food, clothes, rent and some illegal drugs so they can obliterate their hopeless emotional states.

Besides selling it to strangers is easy after mom's boyfriends have "broken you in." So who helps the mom's make better choices? Where's their funding? Betcha it doesn't come close to the budget for the prison space and the DA.

Police are there to mop up the mess. Prevention is always cheaper.

14. sure....
The Washington Times published a front-page article about the Reagan/Bush White House bringing in young prostitute men for "midnight tours" in the late 1980's.

here is a link, the article was real, but was NEVER followed up.

Rumor has it that Hunter S Thompson was working on this story when he died.

http://www.thelawparty.com/FranklinCoverup/franklin.htm

there was even a book written about it

http://www.premier1.net/~barkonwd/decamp.htm

I would like answers to this non-investigated issue

17. interesting
by young, you mean underage?

remember that Reagan quote about doing everything with Bush Sr.? "we work together, eat together, even have sex together" - something like that? and people put it down to his senility. those folks are *so* creepy it would surprise me if they were doing something *other* than sex with underage men. some sort of basement 'stem-cell research' for President Ghoul.

18. Now I am the ignorant one
I have never heard of that quote, but then again, back in the 80's I was more interested in the new Slayer album than I was in politics. And I was the captain of my debate team.

Shows how apathetic we were back then (I was a teenager).

20. looks like Bush said it too?
"George Bush, in a 1988 presidential campaign said "We have had triumphs, we have made mistakes, we have had sex." After a shocked silence, a deeply embarrassed Bush corrected himself: he had meant to say, "We have had setbacks.""

found this via google cache so can't confirm it's veracity...

31 accused of running child sex ring

WASHINGTON - One of the largest mass arrests of alleged operators of child prostitution rings in U.S. history was announced yesterday by Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who said children from Toledo as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, and Hawaii were "herded" around the country and forced to have sex at such places as truck stops.

Mr. Gonzales said 31 men and women have been indicted, and 19 of those have been arrested. The charges include sexual trafficking in children and taking minors across state lines for the purposes of prostitution. Both are federal offenses.

At least 14 men and women from Toledo are among the defendants

19. Now watch what happens when it gets back to Bushie friends.
particularly the child prostitution rings by BCCI as mention by its head Abedi. These investigations go nowhere because the sick slime that use them are rich and connected to the Bush family. What does Michael Jackson have to do with Carlyle Group where in a video he does a "love flop" around the shoulders of one of Carlyle's Saudi princes?

See Franklin Coverup.
