13. As I Said..The South(ahem) is a Different COUNTRY!
The Solid South was won-over by Repugs b/c of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. That's it and that's that. I sometimes think e should LET them secede. See how the competing countries would do?

Actually-it was a class assignment for my Sophomores in 2000.:tinfoilhat:

16. Not a chance
Nassau County was once the most solid republican areas in the country. You couldn't even work for the county unless you were a registered republican. Peter King's district is composed mostly of the die hard republicans.

King is one of the most independent republicans in Congress, I believe he voted against Clinton's impeachment. Why do you call him "disgusting"? Surely there are much worse republicans?

I moved recently, I thought I could keep my old voting district, but they automatically switched me over. Instead of voting for Gary Ackerman, I now am forced to vote against Peter King. I wanted my vote to count, oh well.

17. There are many more overtly
extremist ones in the House, but I got ill (back when I used to watch the garbage) seeing king's mug on the tv constantly shilling for our regime and their policies.
