Royal Marine dies in secret Iraq operation
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2003/11/05/wirq05.xml&sSheet=/portal/2003/11/05/ixportaltop.html

A Royal Marine has been killed in Iraq while working with American special forces "outside the British area of responsibility", it was disclosed last night.

Ian Plank

The Ministry of Defence refused to give details of the action that claimed the life of Ian Plank, a Royal Marine corporal, but confirmed that he died when a "coalition unit" came under hostile fire last Friday.

News of his death was not announced until yesterday for fear of jeopardising a secret operation targeting terrorist units still loyal to Saddam Hussein in northern Iraq.

Royal Marines seconded to the Special Boat Service, the naval equivalent of the SAS, are working under cover with American special services in missions aimed at guerrilla units and at finding Saddam.

3. It makes sense in a 'bizarro world' kinda way
kinda like: if you protest the occupation of Iraq - then you hate freedom.

5. Actually there was a reason
It was so a small group of very evil men, could change the world, into a more ordered place, to conduct corporate affairs in a New American Century.

6. So young!
Look at that face! Sad. Another young life wasted in the name of PNAC/BFEE.

Many more to come I'm afraid.
