Chavez Alleges Plot to Topple Government (weapons ammo platique cash)

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - Venezuelan President
Hugo Chavez denounced an alleged plot to topple
his government Friday after security forces
reported seizing weapons, ammunition and
camouflage uniforms in several raids.

Government agents seized caches of firearms,
ammunition, plastic explosives, uniforms and cash
in three cities, Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel
said.

Chavez said two people were arrested, but he
gave no details. The president repeated
allegations that the opposition, which is seeking a
recall vote next year, is preparing another attempt
to overthrow his elected government.

have one hell of a hard time simply trying to live through their elected terms?

The Venezuelan right-wing was voted OUT decisively. They won't respect the will of the people. Sounds like S.O.P. by our own Republicans.

Isn't it illegal to overthrow a government that's been elected in Venezuela?

Why doesn't Chavez crack some ass? What more evidence does he need?
