<snip>
The figures in brackets refer to casualties since May 1, when U.S. President George W. Bush declared major combat over.

U.S., BRITISH AND OTHER TROOPS KILLED:
COMBAT/ATTACKS
United States 261 (147)
Britain 20 (12)
Other nations 1 (1)
NON-COMBAT
United States 128 (104)
Britain 32 (7)
Other nations 2 (2)
IRAQIS KILLED:
MILITARY #4,895 to 6370
CIVILIANS Between 7,832 and 9,657+

NOTE: NON-COMBAT is defined as accidents, U.S. or British fire killing or wounding their own troops, and other incidents unrelated to fighting.
<snip>

On edit: I doubt that the administration wants any attention paid to these numbers. All patriots should kindly disregard.

1. killing your own troops is 'non-combat'?
The only possible excuse for shooting your own soldiers is if you're in the middle of combat, when it's too frantic to be able to take proper precautions.
Anyone know how many of those non-combat deaths are actually 'friendly fire' during fighting? Those that aren't should be 'manslaughter' or 'murder', and under criminal investigation.

A nice Excel graph showing all this would be a great tool.

4. I'd like to see a comparison of US Deaths and GW Bush's speeches.
