Milosevic found dead in his cell, U.N. Tribunal says
THE HAGUE, March 11 — Slobodan Milosevic, the former president of Yugoslavia and architect of a decade of war that took more than 250,000 lives and tore the Balkans apart, was found dead in his prison cell here on Saturday morning, the United Nations war crimes tribunal said.

And I'm sure everywhere else now, too.

1. Oh great - press the "easy button". Hope this clears up the dockets
so talented lawyers can start to put pressure on Sudan. Uganda too.

5. He had health problems
The trial was constantly delayed because of them.

From the article:
"Mr. Milosevic had been in poor health for years, and his heart condition and high blood pressure repeatedly caused lengthy delays in his war crimes trial here on charges of genocide and war crimes in Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo."

4. The anti-Yugoslav aggression of 1999 was a towering crime.
Milosevic was a Serb chauvinist, and certainly not the progressive socialist he made himself out to be. However, the US-led NATO assault on Yugoslavia of 1999 was a crime of war, and the real architects of war in the Yugoslavia and its former constituent republics during the 1990s were in Britain and Germany's capitals. They deliberately wrecked a successful multinational federative state so that they could swoop in and pick up the pieces for their new Euroimperialist project.
