Russia will not soften position on Iran in exchange for WTO - Lavrov
Of course not, heaven forfend, how could you say that?
---

"We'll never haggle with anything which belongs to us by right under any circumstances, " Lavrov said in an interview with the Vremya Novostei newspaper, published Monday.

Russia has been seeking the annulment of Jackson-Vanik-amendment, introduced by the U.S. in 1974 and restricting trade with Moscow.

"The be exact, the WTO, like the Jackson-Vanik amendment, is a specific debt the U.S. owes us," Lavrov said.

"Bartering anything for the WTO, particularly Iran? Such an idea has not even occurred to us," the Russia foreign minister said.
