<snip>

WASHINGTON - President Bush called on Iraqis Monday to embrace compromise as they negotiate a new unity government and asked Americans to show patience with the war even after weeks of "images of violence and anger and despair."

Bush is engaging in a public relations offensive on Iraq amid increasing worries in the American public. Only 39 percent of Americans support the way the president has handled Iraq, according to the latest AP-Ipsos poll. Nearly four out of five Americans, including 70 percent of Republicans, believe civil war will break out in Iraq, the poll showed.

Personal Note: Bush calling on people to embrace compromise. . . I'd make a joke, but my irony circuits just overloaded.

2. OKNancy Calls on Bush to Embrace Resignation
What a creep he is. I'm sure he sees no irony because he is a mental midget. And like all of his type, he thinks he is a king and can do no wrong. He can spout what others should do because he is KING OF THE WORLD. Doesn't count in the reverse however.

3. Compromise you know? Just like Bush . . . euhm . . .
Well, it's good for everyone else to compromise, just not the Dim Son. If this is Stupidhead's major policy initiative on Iraq, I don't see it being very successful.

How many times, though, will this corrupt administration get the major media outlets to play along for another "major" announcement or effort, and all the talking chuckleheads will announce it as if it's something significant? Remember those once-a-week speeches Stupidhead was supposed to give on Iraq at the end of May, beginning of June 2004? After the first one fell flatter than a can of day-old beer, the rest of the planned speeches were scotched, and nobody said another word about it.

4. missing the point (again)
The Iraqi people made their choice. They looked into the abyss and did not like what they saw," he said. "By their response over the last two weeks, Iraqis have shown the world they want a future of freedom and peace and they will oppose a violent minority."

The problem with Iraq is that of the violent majority. No matter who ends up at the top of the political pile seems likely to maintain power through militias and violencce. Our non-existent efforts to build a civil society among the disparate parts has left this problem virtually unsolveable.

5. Sorry we can't hear you above the sound of bombs, the
gunfire and the screams of the wounded. Did you say something.

Idiot. Complete idiot. I think people ties his shoes on in the morning. I think he only wears dress shirts and dress pants because he can't be trusted to dress himself.
