NH Union- Leader: Sullivan's New Charge

Manchester Democratic State Rep. Peter Sullivan, who last year announced his candidacy for the 1st district U.S. House seat, has levelled a serious charge against the newcomer to the primary race, House Democratic leader Jim Craig.

Sullivan says Craig misused public funds "by announcing his candidacy for Congress on official, taxpayer-funded letterhead".

2. Tip of the iceberg

Craig has a history of cutting shady deals with lobbyists. Hell, he was even endorsed by a guy who shilled for Slobodan Milosevic, so he's not running with a great crowd.

The fact of the matter is that Democrats need to be entirely above board. We have a chance to dramatically change the landscape, but that won't happen if we nominate people like Craig, who say nothing, do nothing, and think of public ethics as an afterthought.
