Government offshore report becomes political hot potato
Democrats on the U.S. House Science Committee are demanding that the U.S. Department of Commerce release the complete version of a study that examined the impact of globalization and offshoring on U.S. jobs.

The $335,000 report, originally produced in 2004, didn’t surface until last fall -- and then only as a 12-page summary offered up by the Commerce Department. The full 200-page report has never been released and the summary was never made available electronically.

1. The report won't be released until they have finished
hollowing out our entire economic infrastructure.

2. Too many secrets.
Taxpayers paid for something they never received. Seems like fraud.

4. Specter
Yup and they are trying to tie in this labor arbitrage increase into "immigration" bill all the while touting the "inhumanity"
of any attempt to deny amnesty.

What a mess, there isn't a single proposal out there that actually makes sense w.r.t. immigration "comprehensive" and it's even more infuriating to watch them put these labor arbitrage agenda items attached to this very big political hot potato.

8. oh the line is
If it's too obvious it's a good job then they say "Americans don't have the education in Math and Science".

I know it's hard to keep the propaganda straight on which lie corresponds to which screw job.

9. These Idiots like Bush think a scientist in Russia is the same as
a American scientist... Research is Research... This is from a Business Management Idiot...

Relative who is a TOP Scientist in his field for over 30 years was told Research can be done by those cheap Russians...

He laughed  well then do it but they call him all the time asking about this or that... He laughs and says ask those Russians Indians and Chineese scientists they know...

thing is 30 years of Research experience in one field can't be replaced... They just don't get it  Its just a way to cheapen the scientists wages...Never piss of a Scientist... you won't get any new products patents and he can screw you big time...

This is just BS by Bush but its going to totally tick off the Science community...

11. You nailed it.
It's exactly what they have been doing
in other countries for a long time.
They go in, hire the slave labor and destroy the
social infrastrusture by not paying any taxes
back into the economy.
This is what they are now doing in the US.
What is really amazing to ponder is when, exactly,
are the bushbots going to realize that they have
voted themselves into third world poverty?

.......Do the Unions not have a voice in this issue.......I wish they could see the clarity of embracing a working class poor from a neighboring country......The joke would be upon the GOP...."thanks for organizing the latino vote for us"......
