U.S. Aircraft Strike Targets Near Baghdad Airport

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. aircraft struck at targets close to Baghdad airport Friday evening in the third successive night of "Operation Iron Hammer," an American drive to root out guerrillas and attack their hideouts in the capital.
Reuters witnesses reported several explosions around the airport, in the southwest of the city, after dark Friday, as U.S. planes and helicopters flew overhead.

The operation follows a series of guerrilla mortar and rocket attacks on the headquarters of the U.S.-led administration in central Baghdad.

1. Some more of those expensive rubbish trucks with Russian drivers?

Somebody ought to put huge "paid for by American taxpayers"
on the tops of any trucks, stores etc. so they aren't
bombed out.
