Morgan Stanley CEO Mack evades Treasury queries

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley Chairman and Chief Executive John Mack, rumored to be a potential nominee to replace Treasury Secretary John Snow, evaded reporters' questions on the subject after the investment bank's annual meeting on Tuesday.

"All I know is what I see on TV," Mack told a gathering of reporters. He was then whisked away to a board meeting by handlers and took no further questions.

The speculation comes as President George W. Bush looks increasingly likely to replace Treasury Secretary John Snow in the near future. He is considering former lawmakers and some Wall Street executives to succeed him, Republican sources have told Reuters.

Rumors of a change at the top of the U.S. Treasury have gained intensity since Joshua Bolten was named last week to replace Andrew Card as White House chief of staff.

1. "All I know is what I see on TV?"
Then he should be OUT. Teevee is the LEAST informative source of information and news out there. He should be disqualified for this statement alone!

Meanwhile from AP: Bush hints at more White House changes
