Florida Gov. Jeb Bush backs Blackwell for governor

Associated Press

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Gubernatorial hopeful Ken Blackwell added another high-powered national Republican, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, to his corner Monday in the contentious GOP primary.

The president's brother joins a list of GOP heavyweights who have sided with Blackwell, Ohio's secretary of state, over rival Jim Petro, the attorney general. Among them are former U.S. Rep. Jack Kemp, Arizona Sen. John McCain and two other Republican governors, Rick Perry of Texas and Mark Sanford of North Carolina.

"National Republican leaders see Ohio's 2006 election as being extremely important for the Republican Party nationally, and they see Ken Blackwell as the best candidate to win the state," said Blackwell spokesman Carlo LoParo.

race.

He has no damn business providing input to this or any other race outside of Florida.

Just one criminal sticking up for another.

7. It's politics as usual with this crowd.
What's really nice is, with this "hang together" strategy, as this illicit infernal neo nazi bunch comes apart, we get to see so many more of them eat worms.

2. Figures
In Korea, the saying literally translates to Kitty, kitty. The more familiar idiom to us is Birds of a feather flock together.

8. Translated: they're starting to panic.
Maybe Tom DeLay could say a few words on Blackwell's behalf.

13. Yep, Jeb is on his way out, so he's not shy in his support of a fellow
criminal.

Oh, and now he's also blocking federal funds assigned to the Florida Everglades cleanup and restoration....

And he's suddenly all for offshore drilling close to Florida shores...

Yep, he's just about done with Florida. He hates like hell to be forced out of power, come the end of December, so he's soiling the resources as much as possible, for punishment.

Vindictiveness runs deeply in this family.

14. Why support this guy?
You could figure that he has plenty to tell about them, but so does Kathrine Harris and they threw her to the dogs. I figured they would do the same with Blackwell, but I guess not.
