The mighty tycoon in "Citizen Kane" had a little wooden sled to remind him of his humble origins. Citizen Arnold Schwarzenegger (news) has the old M47 tank from his early years in the Austrian military.
That's just one example of the appetite for extremes that the new governor of California will bring to Sacramento, where he'll be sworn into office Monday. There, the tanned, Armani-clad action star will mingle and make policy with the rumpled suits of the state Legislature.

These are a few — just a few — of his favorite things: a mansion in Brentwood; a ski lodge in Sun Valley, Idaho; a Boeing 747 he leases to Singapore Air; a small fleet of road-squeezing Hummers; a custom-made, $36,000 watch; Cohiba cigars; custom-crafted humidors; Indian Chief motorcycles.
The product most people identify with Schwarzenegger is the Hummer, the hulking military-designed sport utility vehicle that he helped popularize among civilians. He reportedly has five of the original designs and one new model Hummer H2.

On the social scene, Schwarzenegger founded the Santa Monica restaurant Schatzi on Main — German for "sweetheart" — in 1991 with wife Maria Shriver, and regularly turns up for cigar nights there. According to an interview in Cigar Aficionado magazine, his usual brand of smokes are Cohibas and Montecristo No. 2s. Boxes of 25 can range from $350 to $500.
He also frequents the Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills, a private club where he is one of hundreds with a personal cigar humidor built into the club's walls.
