Iraqi forces find Iranian arms cache

TIKRIT, Iraq, April 12 (UPI) -- Allegations by the Bush administration that Iran is covertly assisting Iraqi Shiite militants has been given additional ammunition.

Iran Focus, which is connected Iranian dissidents, reported on April 11 that Iraqi military forces recently discovered an Iranian-made weapons cache hidden in Tikrit, northwest of the capital Baghdad. Tikrit is the hometown of deposed former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

The new Iranian-made weaponry was found hidden in a large well in the west of Tikrit, according to an Iraqi army officer speaking on condition of anonymity.

..

U.S. intelligence officials also contend that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is developing a relationship with al-Qaida in order to expand Iran's influence in the region.

Interesting timing?

Labeled as "mobile bioweapons labs." Maybe they'll even use the same photos. They obviously think the American people are that stupid. In some cases, they're probably right.

It is unfortunate that partly due to previous administrations, the natural reaction to a government announcement is to believe them.
TO do the opposite with this group is probably safest, however unnatural that feels.

only an idiot would believe that Al Qaida and their sworn enemy Iran would be cooperating in anything. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE except that the ultraright will swallow it whole.

21. Exactly, they planted everything beforehand this time ~ 'Made in Iran'
It feels like 'Groundhog Day'!

The neocon plan is underway ~ Ledeen and the dark lord, Richard Perle surfaced this week to make the case for war with Iran. Both are under investigation for multiple crimes, it doesn't stop them from showing their lying faces in public.

Why do these people still have a say in this country? They are traitors and liars. Perle was always involved in Iranian affairs. Wasn't he caught coming out of a suspected terrorist charity meeting a while ago, but nothing happened, yet they're stopping babies at airporst on suspicion of terrorist activities!!

This country needs help from outside, I'm beginning to think. Someone needs to rescue it from the clutches of these evil-doers

The second rule is, don't ever talk about fight club...

The armed services are bored, they have too many
weapons and have to drop some, they need to kill
some people to stay in shape, they need to make up
whatever crap reason they need for a new murder
spree.

Whever... babys, incubators, terrorists, wmd's, yea

29. They're not even "dainty" or "discreet" in THIS drum up to war
with Iran. Like WAR PIGS at the trough they slop it to us and DARE us to say, But but ... <jackboot stompin'>

Oh yeah, they disrespect us with making the corporate media come to their knees with payoffs and who knows what else (blackmail).

How much money is being poured into the Corporate Media to continue to cheerlead for this Executive Branch.

We know about *all this*, and Bush-Co. says, "So what are you gonna do about it?" Then does a Scalia non-verbal.

Oh, we are so f**ked unless SOMEONE can stand up to these madmen!

Saddam's home town, the guy who was responsible (along with Reagan/BushI) for a war which devastated Iran. As if they would supply weapons to Tikrit.
