Bush: Saddam Won't Drive U.S. from Iraq
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) on Sunday dismissed as "propaganda" a purported audio tape by deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), and said Saddam would fail in his attempts to drive the United States from Iraq (news - web sites).

Asked about the tape by Saddam broadcast on an Arabic television station on Sunday, Bush said, "I haven't seen the specifics. I suspect it is the same old stuff ... It's propaganda, and we're not leaving until the job is done."

2. Of course not! The IRAQIS will drive the US from Iraq
None of this had anything to do with Saddam or OBL in Afghanistan. Just greed and lust for power and world control.

4. No, it's the US ELECTIONS that will rid Iraq of US troops
The Bushies were going out of their way to tell us that the decision to accelerate the handover of power to the Iraqis was not based on political considerations. As we know, the more furious their denial, the more true the accusation. OF COURSE political considerations are the ONLY basis the Bushies use for every decision.

5. You are right, Dubya, we will declare victory and leave on our own accord.
Worked for Richard Nixon, ah - oops - maybe not a good comparison, that one.

6. More proof that AWOL ...
does NOT want Saddam captured. As long as he is at large (undoubtedly in Crawford), AWOL has a free pass to keep the US occupation in Iraq alive.

Apparently our successes in Iraq are too numerous to count (just like the dieing soldier rate).

Cheers
Drifter

7. saddam ONLY appears when bush is in trouble. every damned time. ever
wonder why? he's being kept around, just like osama, so he can be put back in the news whenever bushco needs a distraction and justification for his anti-American pro-occupation, pro-offense position.
