Senior officers undermine Yard claims on shot Brazilian

FRESH doubt has been cast on a statement by the Metropolitan police commissioner, Sir Ian Blair, that he and his aides did not know for 24 hours that the Brazilian shot dead by his officers at Stockwell Tube station was an innocent man.
Two senior officers, one a counter-terrorism expert, have given testimony that appears to contradict Blair’s claims.

They have given signed statements to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) that just hours after Jean Charles de Menezes was killed on July 22 they were told there was a “possibility” that an innocent man had been killed.

The officers say they were instructed to carry out an assessment to help handle the expected public relations backlash to the bungled shooting.

The police became/were the "judge", "jury", and "executioners".....something that should never (or rarely~and then be heavily investigated) happen in this day and age.

By immediately starting up a major league disinformation campaign? It was rather obvious within 24 hours of the shooting that a giant spin operation was underway. That was my first clue that nothing about that incident was right.

They used the Mossad tactics they were trained in and it backfired. Keeping London safe from foriegn electricians.
