Robert F. Kennedy Jr. slams the Bush administration’s environmental polici
Nov. 17 — In a Rolling Stone magazine piece called “Crimes Against Nature,” scheduled to hit newsstands Nov. 21, conservationist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. argues that since taking office, President George W. Bush has gone to unprecedented lengths to undo 30 years of environmental law.

1. RFK jr. is da bomb...
I've always liked this guy...he's quietly worked behind the scenes and fought many important environmental battles...

Interesting side-note: he's an accomplished falconer.

2. Pacifica Played One of His Presentations
He has a very impressive mind and a soul to match.

Pacifica may have the speech online but I'm too lazy to search for it.

I hope he gets in Arnold's face, too.

3. Does he know he's living on borrowed time now?
Nothing the BFEE likes more than killing Kennedys.

5. Jacko or our very soul?
The Salon article above and the MSNBC article get no attention. Jacko gets post after post. Maybe the media is right. Maybe the reason they report Lace/Kobe/Malvo/Jacko is because nobody pays attention to anything else. The Salon article got no attention in GD and neither article gets no attention here. Don't complain about the media if the truth is you're more interested in hype than substance yourselves.

6. but ...but....with Jacko et al, we don't have to THINK
we can just sit and let the emotional responses and judgements fly!!
"Its not MY fault ....he's just a whacko, don't ya know??"
"All the other articles make me think...oooh, my brain hurts"
and I might actually have to DO something about it all...

I'd say they (media, corps- you name it) have us right where they want us and they have to keep feeding the beast so they can keep us "hooked".

Do they ever teach kids how to even think critically any more....??

I can't believe this world....I really can't....

Peace
DR

7. He does not like Bush
I have always liked this guy. His and John Cronin's book Riverkeeper should be must reading in school. The Salon article is a killer. He is right about so many things, including how Gore would have won if he had followed his heart and really pushed the environment- another huge Gore mistake.

I believe that George W. Bush is stealing my country, that he is absolutely stealing the environment from our children, stealing the breath from my children's lungs and stealing the Bill of Rights, selling off the sacred places, and trashing all the things I value about America. Our reputation across the globe, the love and admiration that other peoples and nations once had for America, the safety of our nation, the security of our children, the economy, the ability of our children to educate themselves for the future -- it's all being liquidated by this president for his wealthy friends and contributors. And I am so furious at this man for stealing the thing I love most, which is America, my country.
