The productivity of Belgian workers is high and the quality of their work good, but their high wages are resulting in outsourcing.

A study by PricewaterhouseCoopers found that total wage costs per Belgian employee average $63,000 -- $15,000 more than an employee in Eastern Europe and far more than a worker in India or China -- Expatica

Someday the Indians will be wanting more wages and where will they go...

1. From India, they will go to the Philippines.

It's cheaper there. Eventually, they will run out of customers.

If they aren't willing to pay you a living wage, how can you afford to buy the product?

2. The only "good" news is that one day...

The U.S. will be the destination for outsourcing jobs...
The bad news? Our economy will have crashed and burned completely, at least twice, before that happens.

And we'll be ever so grateful :sarcasm: for the crumbs thrown to us by the multinationals willing to pay us a bare subsistence wage for a few years, until they move on again.

And the downward spiral, the death dance, will go on...
