FBI Raids Foggo's Home
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/20060512-0906-foggo.html

VIENNA, Va.– Federal agents Friday morning raided the home of Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, who stepped down this week from the No. 3 post at the CIA amid accusations of improper ties to a defense contractor named as a co-conspirator in the bribery case of former Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham.

One agent told reporters that Foggo was not at the modest home in a quiet suburban neighborhood near the CIA's Langley headquarters and had not been detained. The agents refused to answer other questions about the raid, including what agencies were involved.

A neighbor said the agents arrived about 8 a.m. ET. A white Chevrolet van was backed up to the carport of the split-level brick home and, at one point, a man wearing latex gloves emerged from the house and went around the back.

4. When are folks gonna learn that guys who carry childhood nicknames
into and past middle age are bad news? I'm thinking of not only Scooter and Dusty, but also Buddy Cianci, mayor of Providence RI in the 80s, along with acquaintances of parents and some very bad bosses.

I don't know what it is about these guys, but they all seem to look for the easy way out, to cut corners whenever they can, to try to get some sort of advantage they don't deserve.

In any case, I hope he maintains the arrogance that infects this whole rotten administration and didn't bother to clean house. I hope the FBI finds everything they ever dreamed of and more.

I want this whole stinking gang of criminals to go to prison.

27. Good point! How about even weirder - one day my ex-boss gave HIMSELF
a nickname -and in all future official correspondences he included it in his name in quotation marks - so it would, you know, catch on with everyone and we would all start calling him by it. Ya, sure.

In my old south side neighborhood many (almost all) of the young guys had nicknames but they lost them as they grew up. I think when they run into their old compadres nowadays they still refer to each other by their old names but never outside of the group.

9. FBI searches home, office of CIA executive director (AP/CNN)
Foggo under investigation for ties to contractor in bribery case

Friday, May 12, 2006; Posted: 1:01 p.m. EDT (17:01 GMT)

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Law enforcement officials executed search warrants Friday on the house and office of CIA's outgoing executive director, the FBI said.

The agency's third ranking official, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, has been under investigation by the FBI, IRS, Defense Criminal Investigative Service and the CIA's inspector general, said FBI spokeswoman April Langwell in San Diego.

Under a sealed warrant, officials searched Foggo's Virginia home and his office at the CIA's Langley, Virginia, campus, Langwell said. She could provide no other details.

The FBI and other agencies have been investigating whether Foggo improperly intervened in the award of contracts to a San Diego businessman and personal friend, Brent Wilkes, who has been implicated in a congressional bribery scandal.

Maybe keep a camera handy so that we can catch footage when they raid his home, which I'm guessing is probably next in this scandal.

26. Payback
I think that Bushy has pissed of the intelligence community to such a degree that they are slowly going to bust all his cronies while they slowly work their way up to him. The true professionals in these organizations, and by true professionals I mean the ones that realize their allegiance is to country not President, must be incensed from being pissed on by the deciders appointed fools, and feel that the only true way to live up to their oath to protect the country is to bust all these traitors, including the traitor sitting in the oval office. I hope this is true.

36. I'm of the same thought
We can say a lot about the people at the top of these agencies but deep down inside the agencies, there are people who are damned good at their job and have a real sense of responsibility. I see all of the latest activity as being a display of just how PO'd the worker bees are. Guys like Fitzgerald are not loners, there's plenty of people who can and will follow in his footsteps.

I hope to see more of this, but I fear that as per the usual course this country takes, we won't be shown all of the damage by the Bushies until long after he's gone. And I am praying that that is not too late.

34. V. Plame was Lady Kenmore?
But what about Foggo the #3 guy in the CIA was a security guard in a sears in Chula Vista, CA?

Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, a security guard at Sears in Chula Vista, became third in command at the CIA.

Brent Wilkes lived a millionaire's dream in Poway and ran a booming defense company.

"They're doing the same thing they did in high school. They're just 30 years older," added Jimmy.

Jimmy said Wilkes and Foggo always had wild parties, women, and fast cars.
...
Hartin said the two talked about partying together in Central America where Foggo was a CIA agent during the Iran-Contra Scandal.

Hartin added, "He told everybody about his deals in El Salvador. You'd walk into Mulvaney's here on Broadway in Chula Vista and that's what everyone was talking about, Dusty's secret missions.".....In 1991, Wilkes brought Iran-Contra front man Oliver North to San Diego for a book signing.
...
"These guys could care less about their country. All they cared about was their pocket book and their image, and their women and their cars," added Jimmy.
