COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man who police believe is the naked photographer has been employed at the Ohio Statehouse for nearly three years, NewsChannel 4's Holly Hollingsworth reported.



People who worked with Stephen Linnen, 33, who is an attorney in the House of Representatives' majority Caucus, said they were stunned by his arrest.

Linnen was known at the Statehouse as a good employee and a quiet man, Hollingsworth reported.

Linnen was arrested Wednesday night and charged with public indecency and assault. Gahanna police charged Linnen Thursday with one count of gross sexual imposition and one count of abduction for an alleged incident involving two teenagers in Gahanna.

The naked photographer has terrorized women in Columbus and the surrounding communities for the past 1.5 years. The man, often wearing nothing but a hat and a smile, would sneak up on women, take their picture and run away.

Linnen has a law degree and started working at the Statehouse in December 2000 as an executive assistant in the office of the Speaker of the House. He was promoted to deputy legal counsel after proving his good service to the House, Hollingsworth reported. (snip/....)
