Court Orders (Ohio Gov. Bob)Taft to Turn Over Contested Records for Review
COLUMBUS (AP) -- The Ohio Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered Gov. Bob Taft to hand over documents related to the state's troubled insurance fund for injured workers so it could decide whether to make them public. The ruling was a partial victory for state Sen. Marc Dann, a candidate for state attorney general who is suing Taft for access to documents related to unorthodox rare-coin investments by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

2. We have no leadership in Ohio. The best they could come up with is
a faith-based candidate. I won't vote for a minister.

We have a convicted governor who refused to resign. Sigh!

4. I'm curious, are you saying you won't vote for Strickland? I'm not
anywhere close to being a christian but I think he's the best chance we have of pulling Ohio out of the gutter.

5. I "strictly" believe in separation of church and state. Others can vote
him in, I will not vote for either candidate in that race.

The democrats should have run a better candidate. They really screwed up.

6. I think your argument is ridiculous
I am an atheist and of course believe in seperation of church and state. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't vote for a person who is a minister. A good responsible person like Strickland understands that he needs to keep religion out of politics.

Jimmy Carter is a great example of this. He was (is)a deeply religious man but he didn't mix it with his policy.

10. Jimmy Carter did not run on his religion and he did NOT put a Bible
in his campaign ads. How is Strickland's emphasis on his being a minister and putting a Bible in his campaign ads keeping his religion out of his politics? He is doing this to get the Bible-Belt Repuglican vote and it is just as obnoxious as when the Repuglicans do it.

There are other things that I don't like about Strickland. I wish the Democrats had run another person but they didn't.

We had a much better candidate for governor in Tim Hagan in 2002 and he lost.

7. They have a saying for that.
Actually two. 1) Throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and 2) cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Amazing.
