FCC 6/21 Agenda Includes Ownership Rules Review

The agenda is out for the JUNE 21 FCC Open Meeting, and, finally, ownership rules are finally on the table.

The issue has been missing from the Commission's agenda for several months while Chairman KEVIN MARTIN awaited confirmation of new Commissioners to bring the panel to its full five member strength, but the agenda for next WEDNESDAY includes the quadrennial review of ownership rules, listed as the second issue (after TV digital must-carry) for the meeting.

The Commission has been stalling on the ownership rules review since the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals remanded the issue last year.
