Senator Considers White House Subpoena In Domestic Spying


WASHINGTON -- Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter is cranking up his dispute with the Bush administration over executive power.

He's threatening to subpoena documents on the White House's warrantless surveillance program.

Specter said he hasn't received a response to his request that Attorney General Alberto Gonzales appear before the panel this month to answer questions about the surveillance program.

Specter told the committee he will ask for authorization for a subpoena if the panel does not get "an adequate response."

7. I loved Mad Magazine!!!
They had the best song parodies ever. My mom used to have fits but we read them all the time. Thanks for reminding me of that one. :thumbsup:
