Haven't found anything substantial about him yet after looking for only a momnet, other than he's a political consultant, worked for Kwame Kilpatrick at one time, and this unimpressive comparison:
"During two shows discussing Detroit-specific issues, he's been nothing less than a black version of Bill O'Reilly...."http://atdetroit.net/forum/messages/36206/45203.html?1117054718Here's an editorial he got published about Granholm:

Will Granholm hurt party's chances?

Adolph Mongo, right-wing darling

I see Detroit political consultant Adolph Mongo is at it again, writing yet another DN column today - this time accusing Governor Granholm and the Democratic Party of racism (here's the first column).
Mongo is well-known for his use of the race card, but it's unclear exactly who he's working for these days. Most often, it seems he's described as an advisor to Hizzoner the Mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick. But that's a far cry from five years ago, when Mongo filed a complaint with the Wayne County Prosecutor and the State Attorney General accusing Hizzoner (then Rep. Hizzoner) of "filing false affidavits under oath... in order to defraud the Detroit School System of tax funds."
Oh sure, it's a drag to have Zell Mr. Mongo aiding and abetting The Amway Guy on the edit page of the DN, but hey...maybe if we just wait long enough he'll change his mind like he did with Kwame

And DeVos has already spent silly amounts of money on his campaign, sounds to me like it makes sense that this guy's depositing checks signed by Tricky Dick.
All in all, the article reads like a pretty pathetic attempt to draw false conclusions from a lot of coincidence and distortion. Not atypical of most GOP campaigns, actually.

Welcome to the 21st century!
Governor Granholm's campaign learns a little lesson about technology. A Detroit Free Press editorial, presented for your enjoyment:
D id the office of Gov. Jennifer Granholm learn a lesson about trying to fool technology Friday?
WJR-AM 760 radio host and Detroit News columnist Frank Beckmann says the governor's office called his studio Friday morning and asked about the program lineup. On the schedule was Detroit political analyst Adolph Mongo, who is an outspoken critic of the governor.
When Mongo got on the air, the station's telephone lines lit up with calls from young women purporting to live in Detroit and saying they were Granholm supporters. Producer Kevin Collard was suspicious. He did a star 69.
Turns out many of those calls all came from the 517 area code, which covers Lansing.

Editorial Rebuttal
Democrats promote diversity in government
A s I read Adolph Mongo's rant against Michigan Democrats ("Michigan Democrats don't practice equal rights," June 14), I could not help thinking about poll taxes, Detroit-bashing and race-baiting. I have personally battled them for more than four decades. They are also the platform of the Michigan Republican Party in 2006.
Do not let anyone sell you the twisted logic that Democrats are against equal opportunity and civil rights and Republicans are for it. Nothing could be further from the truth.
In Michigan today, Republicans are pushing a radical, anti-civil rights and anti-urban agenda. Recently, the Republican-controlled Legislature passed a bill to finance mass transit throughout the state that specifically excluded Detroit -- a blatant slap in the face to Detroiters. Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm vetoed that divisive legislation.
At the same time, quietly, Republicans are pushing legislation that would disenfranchise thousands of minority voters by requiring a photo ID to vote at the polls.
