Clinton says GOP strategy is ‘weak’
http://www.vaildaily.com/article/20060710/NEWS/60710003

God I miss the "Big Dog"

"The Republican strategy is weak, he said.

“Let’s forget about global warming and talk about flag burning and gay marriage,” Clinton said. “I don’t know how long you can milk that old cow.”

“I’m worried about Afghanistan,” he said.

He said he has a deep belief in keeping channels of communication open, even to groups that support terrorist activities, like Hamas in the Middle East.

“I’d still talk to them if they wanted to talk,” he said. “The more you talk, the fewer people will die. There is an inherent benefit to that ... every single death is just another scar you have to claw through before you can make a deal.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The more Americans have a chance to compare the brilliant mind of Clinton, to the 3RD Grade mind of *, the better the Dems chances of getting back our country.

2. Fuckin' Clinton... man spouts poetry by accident explaining diplomacy
Damn, he's genius. An artist of a statesman. "The more you talk, the fewer people will die. There is an inherent benefit to that ... every single death is just another scar you have to claw through before you can make a deal.

Of course, he probably penned that months ago and was just dying for a chance to use it. He has an ego. But he has earned it.

4. In 6 years we've destroyed 100 years of American diplomacy
Used to be "Speak softly, but carry a Big Stick". * has reduced it to "Swing your stick in every direction and hope someone speaks softly to you".

This is what America gets for using the "I'd like to have a beer with him" standard.

5. To be fair to America
I don't think most of them used the beer standard, I think that was just a media PR move to further hype a candidate that by then was obviously a complete idiot. The media chose him and edited for him and actively campaigned for him, and did everything they could to smear Gore, and they still had to destroy ballots to get him in office.

6. Now they know what a mistake they've made...
Bush has pushed his corporate agenda beyond the pale, past the wormhole, overdosed in tangibles.
His supporters are sick to death of having to watch the circus monkey dancing erratically,
the feckless tunes churning from the West Wing. Then there's Rove. The bruised miscreant
indistinguishable from an unhindged fiend seeking power and vengeance in a Boris Karloff movie.

Turn it off, please someone, turn it off!

3. I think direct talks are essential-with all. I even advocated talking with
bin Laden. Why not. what do we have to lose at this point! He wanted to talk and the WH dismissed him.

9. Why talk when you can bring more money home to your local defense plant?
Bombs pay the bills of the rw voters, and they are sanctioned by the "common defense" clause in the constitution!

11. Is he good or what?
"Let’s forget about global warming and talk about flag burning and gay marriage," Clinton said. "I don’t know how long you can milk that old cow."

In one sentence he dumps two issues on their head. That is classic Clinton.

He could really help the Dems with his wit. I just hope he plays a bigger role in the next two elections.

Hey, maybe he can be Edwards VP!.. With the way the repugs hate him, I WOULD LOVE IT! wad-da ya say? I'm with it!
