Mike Wallace interviews Iran's President
Sounds like we may see a semi-humane portrayal of the guy. The talking heads of the radio orthodoxy will cite this as further evidence of a liberal bias in the "mainstream media".

Wasn't he the one who asked the Ayatollah Khomeini if he was a lunatic? Why yes he was.

There's going to be some fireworks tonight.

7. Do you know him personally?
Or are you just going by what the reich wing media report? They don't like Chavez either, and all he wants is to care for his people. I prefer to hear all sides before passing judjment.

9. Wallace says he's an "impressive fellow"
Mike Wallace Scores Biggest "Get" of Year
He may be 89 years old and officially retired, but Mike Wallace may have scored the biggest "get" of the year -- an interview with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that was taped Tuesday in Tehran. Excerpts are scheduled to air tonight (Thursday) on the "CBS Evening News", with a lengthier feature set to air Sunday on "60 Minutes". Wallace told the Associated Press, "He's an impressive fellow, this guy. He really is. He's obviously smart as hell." The remark was quickly condemned by conservative bloggers, who accused Wallace of giving the Iranian leader a platform for propaganda. "I'm glad to hear that Mike Wallace was so impressed by this creep," wrote one message-writer on the CBS blog Public Eye.

5. They also interviewed Saddam Hussein (CBS did I believe)
before Gulf War II. Everything he said on the program was true. He was quite the murdering fascist, no doubt, but he told the truth and cut through Bush's lies like nothing.

10. Hopefully, this interview will negate
some of the Fauxnews character assasination. Once he come across as a sane, intelligent leader, we won't be so anxious for another war.
