Colorado Court to Rule on Redistricting
By STEVEN K. PAULSON
Associated Press Writer

DENVER (AP)--Some Democrats and Republicans have been unable to begin their campaigns in earnest in Colorado, but the problem isn't how to present the issues--it's where.

That was expected to change Monday, when the state Supreme Court was scheduled to announce a long-awaited ruling that could change Colorado's congressional districts and have national implications in the 2004 races.

2. It's too bad TX took all the press on redistricting. We coulda used it.
The proposed map looks so gerrymandered it's not even funny. The courts redistricted for us in 2002 and the GOP threw a tantrum like the whiny, hypocritical babies they are.

Pray for us, oh Holy Mother of Paper Ballot Voting, that I a poor, registered voter, who must live in the stair step part of my district, may not end up represented by Marilyn Musgrave the psycho-hose-beast of the Colorado Repug party and confirmed minion of your nemesis, the dreaded BBV. Keep me safe from her evil, Holy Mother of Good Counting Procedures or then I shall have to hit her in the face with a cream pie on a regular basis and I cannot do your work if I'm in jail on said regular basis for assault and vandalizing her child-sweat-shop labor bad designer knockoff suits and home colored, home permmed hair.

Intercede for us with your son, Accountability, and his other mother, Transparency so that we who dwell in the house of madness may be spared this indignity forever, for thine is the power and the Capitol and the glory, forever and ever.

Amen....

Politicat (who was a good Catholic school girl once upon a time. Can you tell?)

3. Don't worry - be happy (We Won)
Colorado Supreme Court just ruled the GOP map in Colorado.

On to TX (where it doesn't look as promising)

4. I saw the proposed Colorado map.
It looked as if they were drawing salamanders.
