Ozzy Osbourne Says He Was Sexually Molested
In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Ozzy Osbourne recounts being sexually molested when he was a schoolboy. Ozzy says back when he was a kid, no one spoke about these issues like they do today. He credits therapy with helping him speak about it.
Ozzy says: "Two boys used to wait for me to come home after school. They felt me and touched me. It became a regular thing on the way home from school -- it seemed to go on forever." He says he was too scared to let his parents know about it.
Ozzy is more well known for past drug and alcohol addictions. He says since his wife left him for 4 days in 2002 with an ultimatum, he has only had one glass of wine. He also says he has been able to cut down on his medications.

1. If he looked anything like a kid as he does now....
...I'm very inclined NOT to believe him.

4. That's a pretty fucked up thing to say
We are talking about sexual molestation of a child. Regardless of how you feel about Ozzy, that's a pretty low thing to say, imho.

10. Ok, I'm sorry,
but I just keep looking at him walking around dazed and confused on his show, and it really has more to do with his demeanor than looks--the guy doesn't know which way is up.

19. the "dazed and confused" demeanor...
is the result of years of abusing hard drugs and alcohol. The medications he's on now also contribute to his tremors and stuttering speech.

5. Yeah and men
never rape ugly chicks. :eyes:

Sexual victimization has nothing to do with looks. Get a clue.

8. Ozzy was, at one point, a hopeless idealist
and may still be.

From "Children of the Grave"
Black Sabbath, "Master of Reality," 1971

Revolution in their minds - the children start to march
Against the world in which they have to live
and all the hate that's in their hearts
They're tired of being pushed around
and told just what to do
They'll fight the world until they've won
and love comes flowing through

Children of tomorrow live in the tears that fall today
Will the sun rise up tomorrow bringing peace in any way?
Must the world live in the shadow of atomic fear?
Can they win the fight for peace or will they disappear?

So you children of the world,
listen to what I say
If you want a better place to live in
spread the words today
Show the world that love is still alive
you must be brave
Or you children of today are
Children of the Grave, Yeah!

22. No, but this is:
Same album, "Lord of this World"
You're searching for your mind don't know where to start
Can't find the key to fit the lock on your heart
You think you know but you are never quite sure
Your soul is ill but you will not find a cure.

Your world was made for you by someone above
But you chose evil ways instead of love.
You made me master of the world where you exist
The soul I took from you was not even missed.

Lord of this world
Evil possessor
Lord of this world
He's your confessor now!

--This is best put into perspective by one of my favorite Sabbath tunes, "Into the Void:"
Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky they blast
Through the universe the engines whine
Could it be the end of man and time
Back on earth the flame of life burns low
Everywhere is misery and woe
Pollution kills the air, the land and sea
Man prepares to meet his destiny

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky so vast
Burning metal through the atmosphere
Earth remains in worry, hate and fear
With the hateful battles raging on
Rockets flying to the glowing sun
Through the empires of eternal void
Freedom from the final suicide

Freedom fighters sent out to the sun
Escape from brainwashed minds and pollution.
Leave the earth to all its sin and hate
Find another world where freedom waits.
Past the stars in fields of ancient void
Through the shields of darkness where they find
Love upon a land a world unknown
Where the sons of freedom make their home

Leave the earth to Satan and his slaves
Leave them to their future in the grave
Make a home where love is there to stay

but just like Mcheal Jackson, what does this have to do with anything around here? Maybe I should post Oprah's newest diet regime. Would that be relevant @ DU?

20. a day without Ozzy...
is like a day without sunshine lol.

The two albums he did with Randy Rhodes have to be two of the best rock albums ever. I'm a little partial to Blizzard of Ozz, simply becuase it has I Don't Know, Crazy Train AND Mr. Crowley.

26. Fun with the Osbournes, cont'd
So I read on IMDB today that Sharon has confessed that she had an affair with Randy Rhodes (Ozzy's guitarist in the early 80's who died in a plane crash). Wow! What's next? Jack Osbourne got fingered by Jacko during a sleepover?
