breaking report on BBC radio about Turkish hi-jacking

early reports said an airliner had transmitted a coded dignal that it had been hi-jacked. Apparently the plane was flying from Tirana to Istanbul. The aeroplane has landed and there are no reports of anyone being hurt.Report's on BBC radio 4 have just said it had been hi-jacked by two turkish men in protest at Pope Benedict's planned visit to Turkey next month.

In a CNN news alert, they are reporting: Turkish Airlines spokesman says a hijacked aircraft has landed at an airport in Brindisi, Italy, wire services report
