Bill And Hillary Clinton Nominated For Grammy Awards

Former President Bill Clinton and first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton are among hundreds of Grammy Awards nominees announced today. The couple are each nominated in separate categories.

Bill Clinton is nominated in the Spoken Word Album for Children category for his reading along with Mikhail Gorbachev and Sophia Loren of Peter and the Wolf. The trio are up against readings of Harry Potter, and Winnie The Pooh.

Hillary Clinton is up in the Spoken Word Album category for her reading of her memoir "Living History". She is up against political satirists Al Franken and Bill Maher, poet Nikki Giovanni and actor Don Cheadle. ---

3. I think Hillary has a Grammy from reading "It Takes A Village"
She donated all proceeds from the book to charity, but IIRC, she got a gold gramaphone out of it.

Wouldn't it be a kick to have Bill win one as well! I wonder how many husband-wife teams have matching awards like this?
