Four US troops slain in Baghdad
(AFP)

23 October 2006

BAGHDAD - Four more US soldiers have been killed in separate incidents
in Baghdad, their headquarters said Monday, as October remained on course
to be the worst month for American casualties since 2004.

All four were killed Sunday, three in gun attacks and one by a roadside
booby-trap, the US military said in a series of statements.

The deaths followed five on the previous day elsewhere around Iraq and
brought to 84 the number of US troops killed in the first three weeks
of October.

1. And now for today's "good news out of Iraq:"
"This is your old friend Doctor James Falbertson, broadcasting here on CBN, with today's good news out of eye-rack. And by the way, aren't all of us christians a little tired of the liberal media's constant force-feeding us about casualties and lack of progress against our great leader's war on terror? I have to force myself to watch CNN and ABC. Their reporting on the war borders on anti-americanism with all the half-truths and liberal points of view. And that's why I come to you every day to report the good news. I have here a report from a Mr. Hallie Burton who reports that a new school has just been rebuilt in Fallujah totally by American troops and is set to reopen in two weeks. Each student will have his desk with his own computer (yes I know CBS is telling us there is no electricity in Fallujah, but we true believers know CBS is lying). Also, you can help those Iraqi kids receive the King James Bible courtesy of this station; just send a check today payable to me, I mean to station WLIE. And that's today's 'good news out of eye-rack.' Thanks for listening and remember: our godly president loves you and is keeping us safe from truth, er, I mean safe from the true lies of the radical left. Bye bye now."
