edited...realized he's already BEEN sentenced so he can't die beforehand and have his conviction overturned.

I'm sure he has heart problems and will die shortly before going to jail. I wonder if they will hang out on this side of the world or another side.

HOUSTON - Former Enron CEO Jeffrey Skilling is sentenced to 24 years, four months in prison for his role in one of the biggest corporate scandals in U.S. history.

Skilling insisted he was innocent yet remorseful Monday as he appeared before the federal judge who will sentence him.

“Your honor, I am innocent of these charges,” Skilling told U.S. District Judge Sim Lake. “I’m innocent of every one of these charges.

legally, he is NOT considered a convicted felon.

Appeals can take a while. Just long enough for Bush* to pardon him after the next prez election.

As a California rate payer, I particularly resented Skilling's little joke told in a business meeting:

There's a lot of hatered directed to that man, as he deserves. I don't see Shrub pardoning him at all. Kenny Boy would have gotten a pardon, out of pure friendship, bit I don't see this one.

Never once did he give an inch, to save his own skin. He is being to loyal and must know something, or has something on somebody. Think about all the other Bush loyalists that have acted in the same manner. Nope I beg to disagree with you guys, I do hope it is not true, but my gut tells me he will get off.
