Former Employee Says Jim Gibbons (NV-Gov) Knew of Her Illegal Status

Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Jim Gibbons is facing more tough questions on a whole new issue. These questions revolve around an illegal immigrant whom Gibbons and his wife Dawn employed as their housekeeper and babysitter.

The woman says she worked for the Gibbons' for years and the family occasionally made her hide in the basement to keep her illegal status a secret.

Issue is hypocricy, since Gibbons has been saying he would crack down on illegal immigrants.

3. Another missed opportunity for Dem candidates.

They should be putting out ads about how the Republicans are using the illegal immigrant issue, pretending to be wanting to come down hard on illegals while all the time either employing illegals themselves, or supporting their corporate buddies by not enforcing laws to punish those who hire illegals. First off, mainly the rich employ illegals as domestic help so the elitest Republicans and some Dems give lip service to wanting harsh laws against illegals but secretly hire them. Think about who is probably working on those huge ranches that the Republicans like Bush, Cheney and others own.
